Friday Night Live

EVERY FRIDAY | MAY 30 – AUGUST 22, 2025 | 6-9PM | DOWNTOWN CHAMPAIGN

Downtown Champaign will serve as the backdrop for Friday Night Live, a free street-side performance series featuring multiple bands every week. Friday Night Live will be held every Friday from 6-9pm starting May 30th through August 22nd. Performances will be held at the intersections of Main & Fremont, Neil & Park, One Main Plaza, and Market & Taylor in Downtown Champaign. Friday Night Live will include an eclectic mix of music including rock, folk, bluegrass, jazz, R&B, funk, hip-hop, country, indie, and blues, along with a free kids’ activity such as bubbles, balloons, face painting, caricatures, hula-hooping, and glitter tattoos.

FRIDAY, August 1st

Market & Taylor:

6pm: Reverend Robert – blues/jazz/folk

7:30pm: Ther’Up.Y – music for the soul

Neil & Park:

6pm: Live Thru Wednesday – rock/reggae/ska

7:30pm: Mike Ingram & Friends – probably not country

Downtown Plaza:

6pm: Silverweed – rock/country/Americana

7:30pm: Caleb Cook Band – country/rock/blues/jazz

Fremont & Main (next to The Space):

6pm: Benji Stark feat. Ryan Groff – rock/electronica

7:30pm: Nfinite Soul – R&B/neosoul/jazz
