Friday Night Live

EVERY FRIDAY | MAY 29 – AUGUST 28, 2026 | 6-9PM | DOWNTOWN CHAMPAIGN 

Downtown Champaign will serve as the backdrop for Friday Night Live, a free street-side performance series featuring multiple bands every week. Friday Night Live will be held every Friday from 6-9pm starting May 29th through August 28th. Performances will be held at the intersections of Main & Fremont, Neil & Park, the Downtown Plaza, and Market & Taylor in Downtown Champaign. Friday Night Live will include an eclectic mix of music including rock, folk, bluegrass, jazz, R&B, funk, hip-hop, country, indie, and blues, along with a free kids’ activity such as bubbles, balloons, face painting, caricatures, hula-hooping, and glitter tattoos.

Market & Taylor:
6pm: Lexi Tieffel – American Idol contestant
7:30pm: Top 4D Entertainment – premium party band

Neil & Park:
6pm: Ben Spoden Duo – reimagined covers
7:30pm: Ryan Byfield & Nuclei – neo-soul/reggae/jazz/fusion

Downtown Plaza:
6pm: Jordan and Jill – acoustic rock
7:30pm: Kalesa Band– rock/pop

Fremont & Main (next to The Space):
6pm: Lyndzie Taylor Music – acoustic rock/pop
7:30pm: Squirrel Movement Band – alt punk

Also featuring our special weekly kids’ activities: Flow Arts with C-U Circus Collective and caricatures by Dan Wild, Illustrator, Designer and Caricaturist!
