Friday Night Live

EVERY FRIDAY | MAY 29 – AUGUST 28, 2026 | 6-9PM | DOWNTOWN CHAMPAIGN

Downtown Champaign will serve as the backdrop for Friday Night Live, a free street-side performance series featuring multiple bands every week. Friday Night Live will be held every Friday from 6-9pm starting May 29th through August 28th. Performances will be held at the intersections of Main & Fremont, Neil & Park, the Downtown Plaza, and Market & Taylor in Downtown Champaign. Friday Night Live will include an eclectic mix of music including rock, folk, bluegrass, jazz, R&B, funk, hip-hop, country, indie, and blues, along with a free kids’ activity such as bubbles, balloons, face painting, caricatures, hula-hooping, and glitter tattoos.

FRIDAY, June 12th

Market & Taylor:

6pm: Joe Asselin – Americana/blues/folk

7:30pm: The Painkillers Blues Band – blues

Neil & Park:

6pm: anika emily & Friends – acoustic covers

7:30pm: Love Sign – country/pop/rock

Downtown Plaza:

6pm: Illinois Hip Hop Campers 2026 Hip Hop Innovation Center – hip hop

7:30pm: Ti Steele, DJ Silkee Ent. LLC & special guests – R&B/hip hop)

Fremont & Main (next to The Space):

6pm: Conjunto Cazador – Mexican duet

7:30pm: Blue Iris – alt rock
