Friday Night Live

EVERY FRIDAY | MAY 30 – AUGUST 22, 2025 | 6-9PM | DOWNTOWN CHAMPAIGN

Downtown Champaign will serve as the backdrop for Friday Night Live, a free street-side performance series featuring multiple bands every week. Friday Night Live will be held every Friday from 6-9pm starting May 30th through August 22nd. Performances will be held at the intersections of Main & Fremont, Neil & Park, One Main Plaza, and Market & Taylor in Downtown Champaign. Friday Night Live will include an eclectic mix of music including rock, folk, bluegrass, jazz, R&B, funk, hip-hop, country, indie, and blues, along with a free kids’ activity such as bubbles, balloons, face painting, caricatures, hula-hooping, and glitter tattoos.

FRIDAY, July 11th

Market & Taylor:

6pm: Jake & Jackson – rock/pop/country

7:30pm: The B-Sides Champaign – 70s/80s rock

Neil & Park:

6pm: Stylus – R&B/rock

7:30pm: Moondogs – classic roots rock

Downtown Plaza:

6pm: The Casual Blend – pop/funk/rock/soul

7:30pm: Kalesa Band – rock/pop

Fremont & Main (next to The Space):

6pm: The Calum Beckett Band – jazz/blues/bossa nova

7:30pm: Love Sign – country/pop/rock

Also featuring our special weekly kids’ activity: Flow Arts with C-U Circus Collective and caricatures by Dan Wild, Illustrator, Designer and Caricaturist!
