Artist Profile

Mandy Roeing

Artist Statement

I love the effect nature’s beauty has on me and strive to capture that emotion in my work so I can share it with others. Whether I am painting the land, sea, or a pet portrait, soft pastels are always my medium of choice. Pastels are so versatile and dynamic – each layer of beautiful color I add to the surface of my painting interacts with those below to create a rich visual interpretation of the pleasure I find in the natural world.
