Artist Profile

Lori Fuller

Artist Statement

My artwork conveys the ecstatic experience I have when I pause and open my eyes to the nature that exists around us. I find great inspiration in the everyday display of the natural world; the textures of the rocks, moving water, the sun shining through the trees, the mysterious shadows that linger on the ground and an unforeseen color palette. For me, the process of creating begins on-site where I react to the environment around me, where I observe and collect information, where I absorb the complex beauty of the natural world. My artistic journey is an accumulation of experiences: visual, emotional, and mental. As an artist, I aspire to capture the essence of the natural world.
