EVERY FRIDAY | MAY 29 – AUGUST 28, 2026 | 6-9PM | DOWNTOWN CHAMPAIGN

Downtown Champaign will serve as the backdrop for Friday Night Live, a free street-side performance series featuring multiple bands every week. Friday Night Live will be held every Friday from 6-9pm starting May 29th through August 28th. Performances will be held at the intersections of Main & Fremont, Neil & Park, the Downtown Plaza, and Market & Taylor in Downtown Champaign. Friday Night Live will include an eclectic mix of music including rock, folk, bluegrass, jazz, R&B, funk, hip-hop, country, indie, and blues, along with a free kids’ activity such as bubbles, balloons, face painting, caricatures, hula-hooping, and glitter tattoos.

Neil & Park:

6pm: Amerasian Band – classic rock 70s, 80s, & 90s

7:30pm: Doublewide Band – blues/funk

Downtown Plaza:

6pm: Hot Club of Urbana – jazz

7:30pm: Kilborn Alley Blues Band – blues

Fremont & Main (next to The Space):

6pm: In Bloom – classic rock/country/blues

7:30pm: JONNY VODKA – 70s/80s hard rock
