Artist Statement:
My work ranges from large scale glass and steal installations to small, detailed sculptures and jewelry. I love the process as much as the final work. I am always searching for new forms and processes that push the boundaries of the material and my abilities.
Bio / Description:
Jason Mack holds a BA from Illinois State University where he studied glassblowing and art history. In the summers of 2003 and 2004 he studied abroad in Italy to better understand the language and Venetian glass traditions. He has studied with both Venetian and American glass masters since he began working with glass in 2000 at the age of 17. Jason currently lives and works in Champaign, IL where he creates a varied body of work and teaches classes. His work can be viewed at www.mackglass.comAir Jordan 1
