Sierra Shaw | Moth
Moth
The moth is symbolic of seeking light as well as change and transformation. Viewers can pose with the piece and become the moth to impart feelings of beauty and power. Closely-spaced colored resin links filled with plants, fungi, and moss adorn the bottoms of the hand-painted wings to suggest texture, movement, natural illumination, and offer viewers the opportunity to safely interact with the art.
