Tarble Arts Center presents:

Public Lecture and Reception with artist, Dread Scott. Dread Scott is an interdisciplinary artist who creates work encouraging viewers to re-examine cohering norms of American society. In 1989 the US Senate denounced and outlawed one of his artworks and President Bush declared is "disgraceful" because of its use of the American flag. Join us to hear him discuss his work on display in the exhibition A Dark Matter... and his pratices as an artist.
