Ever wanted to try out improv? How about with some awesome coaches from the Chicago improv scene? How about pizza? You like pizza? Then come and find your inner improviser at Zoo Improv's 8th Annual Improv Festival Workshops. We will provide lunch from 12-1pm and then from 1-4pm you will learn improv skills you can immediately put into practice.

A kids and youth workshop will be held from 4-5:45pm with a showcase for those participating at 6pm.

Join us as we celebrate award-winning author and illustrator duo Patricia Hruby Powell and Christian Robinson and their book Josephine: the Dazzling Life of Josephine Baker. Hear Patricia and Christian read-aloud from their book. Learn about how they worked together even before they met face to face. Try out the Charleston and other crazy dance moves. Watch Christian make magic with pen and paper. And eat cake, of course! Copies of Josephine will be available for sale, courtesy of Jane Addams Bookstore.
