One of the great benefits of arts and cultural gatherings is their potential to bring us together in shared experiences and build community. And lest we forget, it is the capacity of our communities to endure difficulty, tragedy and challenge that allows us to grow in both understanding and broad acceptance of who we are and hence move us toward who and what we can be.
