Sandra Allain was born in Bogota, Colombia and moved to the U.S. (Urbana-Champaign) in August 2013, where she lives with her family.

She creates abstract paintings and collages, and also writes poetry inspired by words, reflections and the imbalance of society. She has worked with pastels, watercolor, ceramic, porcelain and acrylic at different stages in her life, experience that has influenced her preferred techniques. Her medium of choice is acrylic. The use of bronze and gold on most of her paintings gives warmth to her pieces and an increased contrast between highlights and shadows, a glow which characterizes her work and personality. www.sandraallain.com

Sandra Allain will be featured in the juried show "Science & Art" at Arterie Fine Arts in Naperville, IL from September 2 through September 30th.

Hello all! My name is Kelsey Greene, I'm currently a student at the University of Illinois studying Social Work.
I'm a lover of all things outdoors and have a passion to capture the little things in life, the sunset over the rolling plains, the flowers just starting to bud after a harsh winter, the spider hanging from the tree branch or the water droplets after a rain. Mother nature is by far my favorite model, however, I do enjoy capturing the candid moments of events and can find the joy in taking posed pictures of individuals. I have a dream to share these moments with those around me, to capture a moment and make it infinite.
If you would like prints, or would like to set up a session feel free to e-mail me!

I'm an artist/illustrator/writer living in Urbana, IL. I graduated in Fine and Applied Arts/Painting from the U of I.
I'm currently involved in writing and illustrating a children's book but, as mentioned, am involved in a variety of artistic endeavors. You may refer to my painting website (listed below) if you're interested in purchasing original art, or contact me through the 40North website for illustration projects, art lessons, and writing-related services.
As mentioned, I am able to assist you with children's book illustration services or help in an advisory capacity for writing - everything from kids' material through adult fiction. In addition to ghostwriting, my strengths are helping to develop storylines, characters, and dialogue to help advance your project.
I'm able to create/assist with song lyrics as well, having played in a band for several years.
Finally, if you're interested in art lessons, I offer drawing and painting lessons for beginners through advanced.
