89 UIUC South Studios

Featuring open studios of 19 arts graduate students, as well as a couple of curated shows with selected works broaching the subject of collecting, landscape, and gender. As a group there will be a chance to talk to the artists and explore the studios where they work.
90 Fisher Community Center

Visit with local artists from the Fisher-Dewey area from 1pm-4pm. Featuring photography by Ryann Kesler and Kristin Darling; pencil drawings by Miranda Largo Ottney; paintings by Maggie Rae; pencil sketches and acrylic paintings by Shelby Clanton, ceramics, jewelry, and metalwork by Barbara Maxwell; jewelry by Penny Thompson; and an art exhibit by Fisher Grade School K - 5 Art Class. Also featuring Be Kind Illinois: The Ben's Bells Project , a non-profit community art project focused on the creation of Ben's Bells - beautiful ceramic hanging works of art inspired by the spirit of Ben Mare' Packard. Attendees will be able to craft ceramic bells for the project. Refreshments and live musical performance by Cherokee County Line from 2pm-4pm.

Glassblowing demonstrations by Jeff Richards. Various techniques will be demonstrated during the day with some work for sale on-site.
92 Homer Lake Interpretive Center

Experience art alive at Homer Lake Forest Preserve! The world will be our canvas as we color the outdoors around the Interpretive Center. Live music will include: Hathaways performing original acoustic indie music from 2pm-3pm, and Grass Roots Revival bluegrass band will perform from 4pm-5pm. Cat Tice will breathe new life into found objects as re-purposed jewelry—bring your unwanted jewelry or found items for barter or trade. Visitors can experiment with creating jewelry using items from nature, and together we will create a new masterpiece! Visitors of all ages are welcome. Activities and admission are free!

Be Kind Illinois will have a Ben's Bells Creation Station where you can glaze ceramic beads that will be made into wind chimes and hung around the Champaign-Urbana area. Express yourself and contribute to the Museum of the Grand Prairie's Community Canvas, or learn about different mediums for creating art! Featuring acoustic guitarist and singer, Billy Galt from 3pm-5pm.

Illustrating our life with Art! All paintings range from landscapes to animals, done in various mediums. The exhibits consist of oils, water colors, acrylics, handmade quilts, and jewelry items by Henry Lammie, Kelli Roos, Mary Dohlman, Geil Butler, Brocky Wright, Susan Zwemer and Kathy Dye.

Please join PAS (Practical Assistance for Survivors) for the Celebration of Daffodils as we celebrate and remember the lives of those who are no longer with us and to affirm the life we have rebuilt or are rebuilding in their absence. The celebration will consist of a short ceremony along with music, poetry, and some flowers made by children.

Featuring a unique exhibition of wearable sculptures, paintings, mixed media by Daniel Sostheim, Laurie L. Martin, and Deb Sosnowski. Also featuring live music ranging from jazz to acoustic guitar in the historic Garvey House by Bruce Goff.

Visitors will see the workings of a professional portrait painter's studio filled with props, equipment, supplies, and works in progress, in a historic location. I will be displaying paintings in oil and pastel for sale and portraits will be on exhibit. I also paint plein and studio landscapes, still life, and equestrian subjects.
