Announcing a Call for Artists for the 30th Annual Urbana Sweetcorn Festival

Urbana - Announcing a Call for Artists for the 30th Annual Sweetcorn Festival Arts Boulevard, August 27th, 2005.

The Urbana Business Association is seeking artists to show their work in the 3rd Annual Arts Boulevard at the 30th Annual Urbana Sweetcorn Festival. 

The Boulevard will showcase our local talent and provide the opportunity for a large variety of people to view and experience the art.  Artists will receive a listing on the Urbana Business Association website Sweetcorn Festival page (www.urbanabusiness.com).

The Urbana Business Association has final approval of all art submitted.  Each artist must provide a representation of his/her work: slides, photos, samples or postcards from previous exhibitions are acceptable.

Booth space is greatly discounted to selected artists at $50 per (11' X 11') space. Artists will be exhibiting outside, rain or shine, on Saturday, August 27th from 11am to 8pm. Booth space is limited, so apply as soon as possible.

Criteria for selecting local & regional artists for the Arts Boulevard:
1.
Must have submitted completed application (see below) and fee by August 15, 2005.
2. Application fee is $50.  Please make checks payable to "Urbana Business Association."
3. Must include representation of art with the application (slides, photographs, postcards, etc.)
4. The artist must create the bulk of the art.
