Announcing A Call For Volunteers

Urbana - Krannert Center for the Performing Arts will participate in this year's Downtown Festival of the Arts (DFOTA) taking place the weekend of August 20-21 in Champaign's Westside Park. Coordinating with the performing arts center's upcoming Wall to Wall Guitar Festival are plans to host a free children's activity at DFOTA which celebrates the music of the guitar. Children and their families are invited to stop by the Krannert tent to make their very own shoe box guitars.
Krannert Center is now asking for volunteers to sign up to work at their activity tent for two-hour shifts that weekend.
The times posted for the Downtown Festival of the Arts are: 12 - 5pm, Saturday, Aug. 20, and 12-7pm, Sunday, Aug. 21. For more information about DFOTA, follow this link.
