2nd Annual Downtown Festival of the Arts Announced

Champaign - The Champaign Park District, the Champaign-Urbana News Gazette, and the City of Champaign present the 2nd Annual Downtown Festival of the Arts at West Side Park, Saturday, August 20th, from Noon to 7pm, and Sunday, August 21st, from Noon to 5pm.
The Champaign Park District is proud to announce the 2nd Annual Downtown Festival of the Arts, presented by the Champaign Park District, the City of Champaign, and The C-U News-Gazette.
On August 20th and August 21st West Side Park will be buzzing with artistic spirit.
Fifty-three local and regional fine artists will be showing and selling their works, from jewelry and sculpture to painting and drawing, and everything in between.
Performing artists will take the stage throughout the weekend, including Dennis Stroughmatt, Jazz Mayhem, the Steve Alderman Quartet, Pocket Big Band, and the Craig Russo Latin Jazz Project. Plus, there will be plenty of hands-on artistic activities for kids and families.
