40 North/88 West Announces 1st Annual ACE Awards

Champaign - Announcing the 1st Annual ACE Awards.
Art lives here. And we're honoring it.
40 North is excited to announce the inaugural ACE (Arts, Culture and Entertainment) Awards that recognize and celebrate outstanding contributions to the cultural life of Champaign County.
The ACE Awards will be presented in seven categories:
- Education
- Media
- Business
- Community Advocate
- Creative Community Service
- Arts Partners
- ACE Lifetime Achievement Award.
Nominate today and join us later for the ACE Awards Presentation during Illinois Arts Week on Thursday, October 20, at 5:30pm at Soma UltraLounge in downtown Champaign.
Nominees are not limited to, but may include: artists, students, faculty, non-profit administrative staff, business owners and employees, elected and appointed officials, and community citizens. Self-nominations will also be accepted. Must be 18 years or older to be eligible to win an ACE Award. Nominations may be made by any resident of Champaign County. Please complete one (1) nomination form for each person you wish to nominate. A final list of nominees will be made available on the 40 North web site in late September. A distinguished panel of Champaign County residents representing diverse professions and backgrounds will select the winners.
