Inspired by jazz luminaries both past and present, the Bobby Lane Quintet is a group of young musicians committed to the performance of new, honest compositions. The Quintet was formed in mid 2014 and features students from the University of Illinois Jazz Studies program. Their first EP, "Sketchbook", will be released in late December of 2014.
