*All proceeds will benefit the Humanitarian Fund of the Congolese Community of Champaign County, which is an emergency fund that provides local Congolese people with an emergency fund for food and clothes.*

On Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 7pm, the Champaign/Urbana Singer-Songwriter Collective and Nightjar Promotions will present a special tribute to one of the most beloved American singer-songwriters of all-time, Dolly Parton, at Mike & Molly's, 105 N. Market Street in Champaign. The special show will be presented as a benefit for Community Radio 90.1 WEFT-FM, and, in addition, WEFT-FM will be broadcasting the event live on WEFT.

This show represents the fifth of such undertakings from the producers, following the successful Woody Guthrie Centennial Celebration, The Bob Dylan Birthday Bash!, Dylan Redux, and The Johnny Cash Celebration. The show will feature up to two dozen local musicians performing Dolly's massive hits like "Jolene," "I Will Always Love You," "Here You Come Again," "Two Doors Down," "9 to 5," "Islands in the Stream," and dozens of others. Among the artists scheduled to appear are Angie Heaton, Gloria Roubal & Paul Sabuco, John Coppess & Suzanne Warner, Fiona Kimble, Kevin Elliott, Ginny Menzer, Lori Bernard, Anne Clements, Marten "Chachi El Bandido" Stromberg, Julia Diane Degler, Jake Tatar, Zac Eitel, Paul Kotheimer, Cliff & Kristy Stoker, and many others.

Admission will be $10 - all proceeds will benefit Community Radio 90.1 WEFT-FM. Representatives from the station will also be accepting memberships and will be selling t-shirts to support the station.

Over one hundred beautiful handcrafted quilts will soon be on display at Cunningham Children’s Home for the 11th Annual Festival of Quilts. The Festival features a show, an auction and boutique of beautiful quilts - many you can take home with you. The gift shop, bake sale, and Patchwork Café offer unique hand crafted gift items and delicious and affordable food items.

The Festival of Quilts is a special tradition at Cunningham, every young person that comes to Cunningham is given a hand-made quilt to enjoy and treasure forever.

Admission is $5.00. All proceeds benefit children and youth served by Cunningham.

Dance performances by Hadley Smith, Lailye Weidman, and Jessie Young.
Music by After-party at Venanzio's and Markomaneis.

Hap·pen·stance is a community engagement program designed to bring visitors together at Figure One for seasonally resonant events such as dances, performances, live music, and more. Tickets sold in advance are $5 for students and $10 for the general public. Entry at the door is $10 students and $15 for the general public.

Join us for a Friday the 13th Happy Hour with an Opening Reception for a photography exhibit by talented naturalist and photographer Lance Merry (www. lancemerry.com).

Enjoy a photographic journey examining natural treasures off the beaten path. Within this 30+ image exhibit, you can dive underwater to witness fish interactions rarely seen, wade through bogs to see the best of orchid flora, and discover the complicated lives of salamanders. The exhibit will run through the end of the month.

Free admission. All ages.
Beverages will be available for donation.

Come join us for some holiday fun during our annual Snow Globe Event! Warm up with us following the annual Parade of Lights Celebration at our Opening Night! Parade attendees and the public are invited to join us in our theatre for opening night festivities such as a visit from Santa in addition to our Snow Globe wonderland! Admission is FREE for Orpheum Members and $5 for Non-Orpheum members.

Can't make it opening night? Come join us for some holiday fun the first three Saturdays in December! Our theatre will be transformed into a winter wonderland featuring: sledding, ice fishing, a photo booth, crafts galore, and winter-themed science activities every Snow Globe Saturday.
